Every day, we design spaces around the lives of our clients. Kitchens that bring families together, dressing rooms tailored to personal collections, bars designed for gathering and entertaining. But as our showroom enters its next chapter, we’ve found ourselves turning that same thinking inward – reimagining the Chamber showroom not simply as a place of work, but as a Chamber home.
Now in our thirty-first year of craft, the way our clients use their homes continues to evolve – and naturally, so too does our work. Whilst we have long been recognised for our bespoke kitchens, increasingly our projects extend further, encompassing specialist spaces thoughtfully designed around lifestyle, occasion, and the hobbies and pastimes our clients hold dear. In recent years, whole-home renovation projects have become a growing part of our work.
And so, it felt only right that our showroom should evolve to better reflect this. Alongside a refresh of our kitchen displays, visitors will soon be able to explore how tailored joinery can elevate the whole home: from a dressing room display and bar area to a seamlessly integrated media wall and a boot room designed to greet you upon arrival.
The displays also highlight the thoughtful integration of modern comforts, including air conditioning systems that are carefully concealed within bespoke joinery. As client priorities continue to evolve alongside our changing climate, these solutions demonstrate how practical requirements can be accommodated without disrupting the beauty and cohesion of a room.
The showroom workspace will also become part of the story, offering an expression of our study and office furniture, demonstrating how the same principles of thoughtful design and functionality can be applied to the spaces we work in every day. Together, these spaces will transform the showroom into something more immersive and homely.
With all four designers gathered around the meeting table, these decisions have been shaped collaboratively – balancing the practical considerations they discuss with clients each day, alongside aesthetics that feel current, enduring and purposeful. Open plan by nature, reimagining the showroom is no easy feat; each display influences the next, meaning every architectural detail must exist harmoniously within the wider space.
A Hidden Bar Designed for Entertaining

Increasingly, we are finding that clients want spaces dedicated to entertaining – somewhere to gather with friends and family, celebrate special occasions or simply unwind at the end of the day.
Hidden behind fully retractable doors, the display transitions between a calm architectural feature and a richly layered entertaining space. Variegated fumed oak and deep bronze tones create warmth and depth, whilst Moulin Rouge marble introduces a subtle sense of drama at its core.
Thoughtfully integrated storage, display space and refrigeration are incorporated discreetly throughout, ensuring practicality sits quietly alongside the aesthetics. When closed, the cabinetry restores a sense of visual calm, allowing the room to shift seamlessly between entertaining and everyday living – a balance we find increasingly popular in the contemporary home.
A Dressing Room Tailored to Daily Ritual
A dressing room is a deeply personal environment, shaped around the routines that begin and end each day, offering a sense of calm, clarity and order within the home.
Designed to balance display with discretion, the room allows treasured pieces to be showcased or carefully concealed as desired. Traditional plaster detailing and a coffered ceiling lend architectural character to the space, whilst a central Taj Mahal marble island anchors the scheme, creating a natural focal point within the room.
As with every Chamber project, it is often the quieter details that have the greatest impact on everyday life. Thoughtfully integrated lighting, tailored internal storage and carefully considered functionality work seamlessly in the background, creating a space that feels intuitive to use and effortless to live with.
The result is a space that feels as calm to use as it does to look at – transforming everyday routine into something more enjoyable.
As ever, our work is shaped by the people who trust us with theirs. The relationships we have built over the past three decades continue to inspire the way we think, design and create. As the showroom evolves, we look forward to welcoming you into the next chapter.
