Clear oak throughout, finished at a low 10% sheen so the grain leads, a kitchen where the timber is the colour scheme. Reeded centre panels and glass-fronted display cabinets, lined internally in a soft plaster pink, give the run its rhythm, while bronze and antique brass knuckle handles bring a quiet weight to the oak. The island is drawn in two halves; a painted working end in deep grey, a dining end left in clear oak. Red Fusion quartzite tops with a 100mm upstand carry the practical side, and dovetailed drawers, one lined in British racing green flock, keep the detail going where it isn't seen.
