Quartz Clad Kitchen Island
This Kitchen was part of a complete house refurbishment project in Sevenoaks, Kent. The deceptively simple design actually belies a complex work of design and engineering.The large kitchen island was clad using six sheets of book-matched quartz to create the monolithic effect. Electric drawers, cupboards on touch latches and a touch to open dishwasher allowed the island to be sleek and handleless.The outer kitchen cabinets are framed by “Goal Posts” to fill the walls and create a distinctive contemporary look. We also installed floor to ceiling flush sprayed wall panelling throughout the room which allowed the skirting boards and architraves to be removed.
