Bespoke wine room designers

Wine room styles

As fine wine is an item of pleasure, as well as a delicate investment, it requires storage that is designed with both form and function in mind. This is an area in which our team have a vast wealth of experience and can guide you to a bespoke solution that perfectly suits your unique collection of wine. A constant, temperature controlled environment is an important factor in ensuring that every bottle is kept at its absolute best. Our conditioning units incorporate the latest glazing, lighting and temperature control technology, which are all manufactured to the finest tolerances. Be it a complete wine room, wine cellar, a cabinet or bar, each is given the same attention to detail and every solution is designed and crafted to your exact specifications.

Every piece of furniture that we create is truly bespoke for each customer that commissions us, so whatever it is you have in mind, we can make it possible. We broadly categorise our wine storage furniture design into the following three styles:

Sophisticated home bar area is finished in stained oak and pewter liquid metal

In a modern house, or when deliberately positioned to contrast with the architecture of your period home, our more contemporary styled wine storage could well be for you. Our designers select materials such as mirrored glass and striking marble and combine these with sleek architectural lines to create wine storage that really stands out– all whilst practical. For all our designs incorporate features like temperate control or pressure sensitive alarm systems. Lighting also plays a key role in this style and with guidance from our team, whether you choose recessed LED’s strips or more targeted downlighting, we can ensure your wine storage is a thing to treasure for many years to come.

Placing focus on timeless features more familiar to a period property, such as architraves and wood-panelling, our designers will form a space that perfectly houses your unique collection of wine. Whether it is adjusting proportions to suit the scale of an older property, or selecting materials that complement the exposed stone walls of a farmhouse – these are all familiar challenges to our team. All our furniture is constructed in our workshop and made from the highest grade timbers and materials, meaning you can be sure that your wine will be well housed.

What we call our hybrid designs are perfect for those who favour the best of both the past and present. Our hybrid style wine storage furniture finds its inspiration from the traditional as well as the contemporary and achieves cohesion through the diverse use of materials, colour, texture and proportion. So if you would like to incorporate the more contemporary look of a granite surface for your wine tasting area, but also prefer decorative bevelled inlays in your shelving, our designers will help you to achieve the perfect balance the suits your taste and your more practical specifications.

Any connoisseur will agree that the enjoyment of fine wine extends far beyond the taste and aroma; with beauty and interest often being located in the design of the bottle itself. Lighting therefore plays an important role in any wine room or cellar as this can be used to set your collection off to its best advantage. Our experienced designers can guide you in where best to place different forms of lighting, be it recessed LED stripes, up or down-lighters or spotlights. Whatever you decide, they will help you to find perfect balance in practicality and style.
